The three keys in helping our young people stay mentally, emotionally, and physically fit are 1) sleep, 2) diet, and 3) exercise. Many of the young teens that attend our boarding school are physically out of shape struggle from low self-esteem, poor social skills, lack of self-motivation and a list of other labels ranging from; Struggling, Troubled, ADD, ADHD, RAD, ODD, learning impaired, to wrong peer selection. Physical sports address many of these issues by allowing the struggling teen to learn team and social skills, maintain a healthy weight, and build self-confidence. They learn leadership skills that allow them to excel in problem solving, and how to preserve.

"Overweight in Children". Today, about one in three American kids and teens is overweight or obese. The prevalence of obesity in children more than tripled from 1971 to 2011. With good reason, childhood obesity is now the No. 1 health concern among parents in the United States, topping drug abuse and smoking. www.heart.org

ABM allows the young teens to stay active and encourages weight training and physical exercise for all of our young teens. (Weight training for those of proper physical shape) Our affordable program allows your teen to develop life-long habits that will insure his physical, emotional, and mental health as he moves toward adulthood.
